Turning Every Muslim into a Momin
“Our Mission is to turn every Muslim on earth into a Momin – An Islamic Leader.”
What is the difference between a Muslim and a Momin?
The first Level for a Muslim is to have a firm belief in Almighty Allah and His last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), to fulfill the basic duties such as prayers, fasting, charity, and pilgrimage.
The second stage of piousness is when a Muslim turns into a Momin. Momin is the one whose belief is deeply rooted in his heart and at a spiritual level. Momin is one who is always much more aware of Allah. He strives to develop both the inner Iman and the outer action following the teachings of Islam. A Momin is ranked much higher than a Muslim and is completely submissive to the Will of Allah Almighty. His faith is so firmly established in his heart that he believes there’s only One power than can do anything when He wants and no one else wants and even if the whole world wants to do something if Almighty Allah doesn’t, that is not going to happen. He has blind faith in Allah. He reaches a much higher spiritual level that these worldly things and materialistic things do not matter to him anymore. To him, this Earth is just a temporary, fragile world to spend a little time. Allah Almighty describes the difference between Muslim and a Momin in Surah Hujraat ayat 14
“The bedouins say, “We have believed.” Say, “You have not [yet] believed; but say [instead], ‘We have submitted,’ for faith has not yet entered your hearts. And if you obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not deprive you from your deeds of anything. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.”
In the light of this, it can be concluded that every Momin is necessarily a Muslim but every Muslim cannot be a Momin.
What is the Islamic leadership development program?
Human society has always needed leadership to pursue personal and collective goals. Islam is a religion that governs all matters including leadership. Leadership is an important subject that had been used to disseminate the Islamic teaching or da’wah and as the most significant instrument for the realization of an ideal society which is based on justice and compassion. This program enables us to train a Muslim in such a way that he bears the qualities of a Momin as described in Quran and Sunnah and then becomes a leader to whom people will look up to in the time of difficulty. We strive to bring the people onto the path of righteousness and become a practicing Muslim in its true spirit and enhancing their belief in terms of spirituality and taqwaa.
Why should I choose to become an Islamic Leader?
An Islamic leader possesses a higher rank in society and a leader is an example for people to follow. After becoming a leader in its true spirit one feels complete satisfaction and doesn’t fear in any circumstances. As a result, your loyalty, allegiance, and obedience will be to the Creator Himself. You will transcend yourself from all types of allegiances in this world. You will be able to acquire peace, harmony, tranquility, and happiness within yourself, with your family, with people of the world, within the environment and this Universe.
The first step in becoming a leader is to be a good Muslim. A good practicing Muslim is at the entry-level performing basic religious obligations such as praying 5 times a day, recites Holy Quran. He believes in Angels and the Day of Judgement. He remains modest in his ways of walking, dressing, and eating. He does not lie, does not hold grudges against fellow beings.
The second Level is intermediate Level where He reaches the Level of becoming a Momin and be more pious and starts doing other than just religious duties. He talks to the people nicely, greets them with a smile and maintains a polite way of talking to the people. He keeps his intentions good and remains honest in any matter of life which makes his conscience clear. Each action of Momin is following the teachings of Islam. He loves others for the sake of Allah and hates others for the sake of Allah; he achieves a superior level of faith (Iman).
The third Level is The Leadership level. A leader is a role model for his followers so he must have exemplary behavior. He ensures to do justice wherever he can, he is trustworthy, knowledgeable, kind and moderate. He feels that he is accountable not only to Allah Almighty but to the people as well for who he is serving. He remains calm in any situation and holds a firm belief that Allah will help him out of it. It helps the poor and needy people with the sole intention of help and not worldly praise. He is selfless, humble and does not show arrogance. He offers nawafils to reach an even higher stage of piousness and spirituality.
How will you know my Level?
We will know your Level after asking a few questions from you and then helping you set goals to reach the next level. You have to answer them honestly to see which level you’re at. It doesn’t matter if you’re at an entry-level, what matters is your dedication and consistency. With these attributes, you will surely reach the leadership level and earn the radaa of Almighty Allah.
What are the benefits of this program?
